Friends Church Katani was started in 2014 as an outreach ministry of Friends Church Donholm. The church was officially inaugurated on 1st September 2019, having witnessed tremendous growth due to its unique location and vibrant programmes.
Located in Katani — beyond Syokimau off Mombasa Road — the church sits at a unique intersection of middle-class residential growth and local community. This positions Katani as a springboard for reaching communities throughout Machakos County.
The church is served by a resident pastor and has a vibrant social support programme for members, in addition to active praise and worship, Quakermen, USFW, Quaker Children Ministry, and youth programmes.
Located in Katani, beyond Syokimau using the Katani road off Mombasa Road. Once in Katani, follow signs from the Katani Shopping Centre along the Mwangaza Rehabilitation Centre – Teule House Road.
Based in the Mwangaza area of Katani, this cell meets weekly for prayer, Bible study, and mutual support.
